Following last week’s fantastic ‘A’ level results, students at Woolwich Polytechnic School have once again achieved remarkable GCSE results.
Our provisional figures show that just over 71% of our students achieved 5 or more GCSEs A*-C including English and maths. This is a 5 percentage point increase on this time last year and 18 percentage points above the 2014 national average figure. 83% and 80% of the cohort achieved A*-C in English and maths respectively, this compares to early indications for the national picture of 65% and 62%.
